Question: How long have you been in business?
Answer: We have been in business since 1998, but have over 20 years of masonry experience.
Question: What services do you offer?
Answer: David Fabbo offers Brickface, Stoneface, California Stucco, Hardcoat Stucco, Step Work, Application of Cultured Stone and Limestone. Being in the industry, we know of many qualified contractors such as our selves. We can refer you to just about any work you need, where you will directly be in contact with that contractor.
Question: Do you give free estimates?
Answer: Yes, we give free estimates and offer our best judgment of what will increase the value and beauty of your home.
Question: Do you give estimates on the weekends, evenings, mornings?
Answer: We will do our best to accommodate your schedule. Our estimators work 7 days a week'
Question: How much do you charge per square foot for your services?
Answer: Prices depend on service, amount of work, and circumstances of work. We can not estimate any price without seeing the property. Upon the estimate, our consultant will be able to answer all of your questions and assure you that you are getting the best service for your price.
Question: What parts of the Tri-State do you serve?
Answer: We serve the Tri-State area meaning parts of NY State, all 5 boroughs, almost all of New Jersey, and parts of P.A. If your around 2 hours of our distance and anxious to use us, we will fulfill your needs.
Question: Does David Fabbo subcontracts their jobs to other workers.
Answer: Not at all. We are a family-owned operated company meaning that we buy the jobs, and work the jobs as well. You the client do not get a salesman coming into your home and giving you the sales pitch so he can make commissions and others do the work. Instead, the same individual who comes and gives you the estimate will mostly likely be on the job working on your home.
Question: On average, how long does it take to complete a job?
Answer: Depending on the size, service, and circumstances involved, each job is different. However, an average job last 2 to 3 days.
Question: Do you do commercial work as well?
Answer: Yes, we have done plenty of commercial work in the past and refrences of past customers can be obtained upon request.
Question: Do you take deposits before you start your work?
Answer: It's not in our policy to take money away from the customer without the job being started, but if you want to assure yourself by leaving a deposit, we will accept it and deduct it from your balance.
Question: Is your company fully licensed and insured?
Answer: Yes, we are fully licensed and insured. Certifications of insurance may be obtained upon request. You can Look above on our Licensing and Insurance page.
Question: Do you have a price minimum on any work that you do?
Answer: Yes, we can do small jobs if we are in the area and if it is convenient for both the client and us, but usually our job minimum is $2,500.
Question: Are you in any way affiliated with Garden State Brickface?
Answer: No. GSB is one of our competitors.
Questions About Our Services?
Question: What kind of scaffolding do you use?
Answer: Each job is different and need's different scaffolding. Usually we use wood scaffolding. However, if a commercial job needs a bridge on a busy a street; we will have a separate company set up a bridge.
Question: Do you need to remove siding, brick, old stucco, before you start your process of work?
Answer: Each job is different and requires different strategies to complete the job. During the estimate process, we will determine what needs to be done first.
Question: Do you apply any water vapor to protect wooden surface?
Answer: Yes, if any water vapor is needed, we will apply it. Usually we apply black tar paper or Tyvek.
Question: Do you need to install galvanized steel lath?
Answer: Most surfaces and applications require installing galvanized steel lath, but if the base is a clean cinder block, this process may be eliminated.
Question: How do you get different colors in the Brickface, Stone, and California Stucco?
Answer: Color pigments are added and mixed in the cement, which is then applied by hand to give the natural look of brick and stone.
Question: Does the color of Brickface, Stoneface, Stucco change or fade?
Answer: Specific colors are mixed in with cement. The color does not change however it weathers naturally just like real concrete and brick.
Question: Do you offer E.I.F.S. or Dryv-it products?
Answer: We do offer these products, but we do not recommend them since they do not meet our requirements. We do offer the same look with Hardcoat Stucco where only these products are used on moldings. During the estimate, we can further explain our products and usage.
Question: Do you offer a warranty?
Answer: David Fabbo stands behind our work and gives warranty depending on the service offered.
